There was a quite tension in the air when I walked in. The kind you know that has been building since she got the call that he was coming home. All that nervous and excited energy gets translated into mass cleaning efforts and when that is exhausted we move on to the next thing to distract from the anticipation and butterflies, getting ready to see him!
I can't decide, which I loved more, capturing S's relationship with her little man or her homecoming with her big one! The bond between S and little A so filled love, adoration and trust, it is truly heart melting. I have a feeling he is going to give her a run for her money, the way only little boys can, but I have no doubt in my mind that S is up for the challenge. She had him beat at every turn with all his cute little antics and had me in stitches! They are too cute!
When we arrived at the hanger the tension and anticipation was so thick you could cut it with a knife! This was the one of the final waves of guys to come home, so there weren't very many people there. We waited.....and waited....and waited....then....there was a DELAY! UGH someone lost something important and held up the bus for what felt like forever, but was really one for, maybe 10 minutes.
They arrived soon after that and joyous chaos reined! In the frenzy we lost the Capt. He broke left and we broke right. Thankfully it only took us a minute to track him down with the help from friends! *cue the tears* Seriously I couldn't help, but cry this time. When you get to the images of their embrace you'll see why.
Welcome home Captain Unrath! You're one lucky guy!
